Cross

It was a sacrifice
Painfully sweetly planned

A gesture that has come to stay
The presentation of true love
Cross

Flesh and blood
Pain and anguish
Jesus
Cross

He was rejected
but it was good
Our own good
not for His

Yet we continue
falsehood, lies
Fake
And the master SIN

Are we not embittered
Moved by a gesture

A gesture that gives life

Are we not moved
Are we not fortunate
That a man lay down his life

Who is there?
Who can?
I thought

Maybe the soldiers or the priests
but all falsehood
Can't be compared to a gesture

Cross

I may continue and never end because of a gesture

A gesture that makes the unwhole whole
A gesture that gave success to failure
A gesture that has changed everything
A gesture that has come to stay

but we are ungrateful
Gratefully ungrateful

We hide
We strive
But we all pretend

Forgetting the gesture
That magnificent gesture

How many would tell?
How many would do?
How many are willing?

A gesture
A gesture

We can't wait?
Because we're chasing
Chasing after things that would not give us anything

like He was rejected

Today we are rejecting him as well
Today we are pretending
like he doesn't exist
Today we are acting like
we do not see who he is

but a gesture
Can change your life

Remember
Reminisce
He did it for us

Why?
Why?

A gesture
A gesture of true love
A gesture

A gesture that courses all of us to look back on our lives
A gesture that shows us the way
A gesture that let's us know that there's

Someone who truly loves us

A gesture
A gesture that signifies life and peace
A gesture that would remain for years

A gesture that
many
many have heard of

Cross
Cross
Cross

"The cup that I drink you will drink;and with the baptism with which I am baptised;but to sit at my right hand or my left is not mine to grant, "
