THE ILLITERATE

Literacy is figurative
Minds blow past innovations
Inventions an expectation
But remorse fills the medulla oblongata
When fatuity is displaced

Do we blame our efforts or our trials?
Our pledges or our endeavours?
Seeming inevitable in African culture

Inappropriate enhancement
Magnitudes against longitudes
Heights against lengths
Friction against gravity

A possibility to be excused
Man is up against literacy
Africa is up against illiteracy
Stupidity is up against wisdom

Yet a shock in display
Delivering what was not stored
And what was stored never delivered
THE EDUCATED, THE UNEDUCATED, THE WISE, THE FOOLISH ARE ALL ILLITERATES
